Formerly known as the Presidential Hotel, the 15-story circular high-rise building in Atlanta was built in the mid-1970s and comprised 234 units, conference rooms, and retail space. Its ownership changed hands multiple times, and it underwent several name changes, such as The Heights Hotel, Ramada Plaza Hotel, and The Solaris Atlanta Building. After being purchased and renovated by Celebrity Business Suites, the building became a multi-use office complex, offering lounge, ballrooms, hotel/extended stay, and office suites. However, there were issues with the building’s management and mismanagement, code violations, black mold, and other problems, leading to complaints from tenants.
